When words aren’t enough.

An introduction to art psychotherapy

Art psychotherapy brings art-making and conversation into a therapeutic relationship. Working with a trained art therapist, you can explore thoughts, feelings and experiences through creative expression.

You don’t need to be good at art or have any artistic experience. The focus is on what the process means to you, rather than making a finished piece.

Room to explore

In our work together, there is space for talking, art-making, writing, music, collage, mess making and other creative processes. We can explore what feels useful and comfortable for you.

At your own pace

My approach is warm, relational and non-judgemental. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear plan. We can begin with what is going on for you right now.
